Raksha Bandhan is a popular Hindu festival that is celebrated on the full day of the Hindu month of Sravana. It is a festival that celebrates the love of a brother to his sister. On this day sisters tie the rakhi around brother’s wrist and brothers make a promise to take of her in difficult times.

There are so many stories related to Raksha Bandhan. Here in India festivals is a union of family members. Also, what’s a celebration without yummy food, sweets, and savory recipes. I have compiled a list of sweets that can be made for Rakshabandhan at home. These are easy to make and takes minimum time.

Raksha Bandhan Recipes

Rice Kheer Chawal ki Kheer is a traditional Indian dessert recipe that is made of Basmati rice, milk, dry fruits, and saffron strands. Flavourful, yummy, and an easy one-pot recipe – this Rice Kheer is loved by all. In India, Kheer is usually made during festivals, Śrāddha, or during weddings.
