Mini Sooji Uttapam- How to make instant vegetable uttapam

Vegetable Semolina aka Sooji/Rava uttapam is one of the easiest and quickest recipe which we all can make during Monsoon.Β The season of Rain, Garma-Garam Chai and Pakoras is here. Instead of making Pakoras every time, lets try something new πŸ™‚

It is a perfect breakfast recipe which is loaded with vegetables and has goodness of Sooji and Yoghurt. Do make it for your kids as they gonna love it.

I have this cute mini uttapam pan, which makes 4 uttapam in a go. You can make it in big pan too.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sooji / Rawa (Semolina)
  • 3/4 cup Yogurt Dahi /
  • 1 Tomato (finely chopped into small pieces)
  • 1 Capsicum (finely chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn American
  • 1 chilly Green (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 Black pepper tea powder- spoon
  • 1/2 chili powder tea Red - spoon
  • 1/4 Turmeric tea powder- spoon
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Water
  • 1/4 Eno tea - spoon
  • as required Oil

  • 1 cup Sooji / Rawa (Semolina)

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl take Sooji and yoghurt. Now add water. mix and let Sooji soak in water and yogurt for half an hour. {We want a medium-consistency mixture, not so runny, so add water accordingly}
  2. After half an hour, add all the vegetables and spices. Mix well
  3. Lastly add Eno and mix in one direction.
  4. Heat non stick Uttapam mini-pan, grease it with little oil.
  5. Pour a ladle full of batter into the tava to make mini uttapams.
  6. Cook it till golden brown from both the sides
  7. Serve with tomato ketchup or green-coriander chutney
  8. Serve Hot with Garma-Garam Adrak wali Chai

Notes :

You can take any vegetable of your choice. I have skipped onion but you can add if you like.
