Paan shot is a refreshing beverage drink made of Paan or Betel leaves. If you live in India, Paan is easily available in the market. You will find Paan shops in every nook and corner. People in India tend to eat paan as a mouth freshener. Paan shots are nothing but Paan in a liquid form. Serve in shot glasses or mini glasses and it’s hit.

In this recipe, we are going to drink Paan instead of eating the actual Paan. This is a fantastic recipe with a twist. Serve it to your guests in shot glasses and they will be blown away.

A few days back, I visited a restaurant with my family and there they offered us this in shot glasses. I absolutely loved the idea and thought why not give it a try at home. After a few hit and trials, finally got that perfect flavor I was looking for.

This recipe is pretty simple, easy and you will find the ingredients easily available in the market. People who live in India can easily find Betel leaves in any Paan shop. If you don’t have ingredients, you can easily add this to the recipe and it will work. Try this recipe for your kitty parties or even for Diwali and serve it to your guests and friends.

Instructions
  1. In a mixer jar, crush betel leaves using your hands. Add gulkand, peppermint, and elaichi. {Do not add too much peppermint, start with adding 1/4th teaspoon or a pinch}
  2. Add vanilla ice cream and little water. Blend it in a mixer and sieve it through a muslin cloth or a colander.
  3. Pour it into shot glasses and serve it chill.
  4. Tada! Paan shots are ready to serve.
Recipe Notes
  • Check betel leaves/ Paan before buying. There are various varieties available in the market. We want meetha patti paan.
  • You can add crushed ice into the blender and then churn.
  • Can add sabza/basil seeds soaked in water.
  • Can add rooh-afza if you like rose flavour.
