My mother-in-law makes this Kairi pyaaz chutney and it’s super yummy and can be made in 5 minutes.

This recipe doesn’t require any blender or a mixer. Yes, you read it correctly – a chutney recipe that doesn’t require a mixer or a blender. For this chutney, we grate the onion and raw mango. With a few ingredients in your kitchen, this chutney can be made in a jiffy. This chutney is a must-have during Summer as Kairi or raw mango protects us from heat and dehydration.

  1. Firstly, peel onions and kairi. Keep it aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, grate both of them. Add salt, black salt/kala namak, roasted and crushed cumin powder, crushed pudina leaves, chopped coriander and a pinch of haldi.
  3. Mix everything together and voila, it's ready.
  4. Kairi Pyaaz ki chutney is ready.
Recipe Notes

Adjust onion and raw mango as per your taste. If you don't like too much sour, add more onions.
