Instructions
  1. Wash and peel Beetroot. Now put this in a pressure cooker with some water and take 1-2 whistles. Just like how we boil potato/aloo.
  2. In a mixer grinder, add chopped boiled beetroot, green chili, and ginger. Make a smooth puree of it. Add a little water if required. Strain this puree using a strainer/chalni.
  3. Now in a big mixing bowl, take the beetroot puree, add Dahi and water. Add roasted cumin powder, salt, and rock salt.
  4. Whisk it well using a hand blender or a hand whisker.
  5. Check the taste and adjust the salt accordingly. Once done, you can serve the beetroot buttermilk immediately or refrigerate it for a few hours and serve chilled.
  6. Healthy and super yummy Spiced Beetroot Chaas is ready.
