Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix all the above ingredients together except oil. Once mixed, taste the mixture and adjust the salt and pepper according to taste.
  2. You can add garam masala and chat masala too but we haven’t as the flavor of black pepper powder tastes fantastic in kebabs.
  3. See if the mixture is binding together and make tikkis out of it. Because of aloo and paneer, it will bind together. Since we are shallow frying it, we haven’t added any maida or all-purpose flour for that extra binding.
  4. Take small balls of the mixture prepared and make round tikkis out of it. You can give any shape of your choice.
  5. Heat a non stick pan and grease it with some oil. Shallow fry them till they get cook evenly from both sides.
  6. Serve it hot with any chutney or your choice.
Recipe Notes
  • More vegetables like carrot and capsicum can be added.
  • Can be deep-fried.
  • Can be made in small balls if you are presenting as a tooth-pick starter.
  • Adjust the masala according to your taste.
  • If deep-frying, try with one kebab at first. It should not break.
  • For better frying, you can add maida for that extra binding.
