Instructions
  1. In a non-stick kadhai, add milk and let it come to a boil. Now add desiccated coconut and mix it well. On a low flame, cook this mixture till it comes together.
  2. It will take approx 5-7 minutes for the mixture to come together and get cooked. Make sure to cook this on low flame.
  3. Once the coconut and milk is cooked, add sugar and stir it again for the next 7-8 minutes till the sugar gets dissolved and cooked properly.
  4. You will notice that the mixture has cooked properly and has come together like a dough.
  5. Switch off the gas and add crushed cardamom powder.
  6. Let the mixture cool down a bit, but make sure to make laddoos when the mixture is a bit warm. Otherwise, they won’t take shape.
  7. Make round laddoos of the mixture and roll them instantly on some desiccated coconut powder just for the final touch.
  8. If you wanna make colorful saffron laddoos, divide the mixture into two parts. Add saffron strands mixed in little milk to the dough and roll out saffron laddoos. Else you can also add lemon/orange color to one part of the dough and roll out laddoos.
