Preparing Rice
  1. Wash the rice 2-3 thoroughly with water. Soak it into clean water for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Now Boil water in a vessel, add salt and cook the raw rice (after draining the soaked water) just the way you do it. Once the rice is cooked, strain the excess water and keep the rice aside to cool down.
Preparing Tadka
  1. In a kadhai, heat oil – add rai, curry leaves, urad daal, chana daal, and slit green chili. Sauté them on low flame so that they don’t get burned. Keep stirring, we just want a golden color on chana and urad dal. It will take 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add cooked rice and mix it with the tadka.
  3. Finally, add the curd and stir it well. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes. If the consistency is not liquid or desired, add more curd.
  4. Add salt and serve it hot.
