Peanut Salad is a healthy salad option where roasted peanuts are added with spices, lemon, and salt. Peanut salad is super healthy as peanuts are a great source of fiber. Salads are an important part of our meal. In fact, we all should incorporate salad into our daily diet. But at times we get bored with the regular salad, right?

This Peanut Salad is an interesting twist to your regular salad. If you love peanuts you can add them to your diet in this form.

Peanuts and health benefits.

Eating nuts, peanuts daily could lower death risk from cancer, other diseases. Peanuts and nuts are a good source of omega-3, fiber, vitamin E, antioxidants and “good” fats. You can give this salad to your kids too. There is no one way of making it, you can add veggies according to your choice or you can even add sprouts to this.

  1. 1. Dry roast peanuts in a kadhai till they become a golden brown. Keep it aside once done and let it cool down.
  2. Heat oil in the same kadhai and fry peanuts for 1-2 minutes till they start changing color. Take them out.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add cucumber, tomatoes, onions, roasted & fried peanuts, green chillies, cumin powder, kala namak, salt and lemon juice. Mix it well.
  4. Add finely chopped coriander leaves and toss it well.
  5. You can add chaat masala too if you want. Since we are adding lemon juice here, I didn't add it.
  6. Serve it and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
  • Add salt and masala just before you are about to serve.
  • You can avoid green chilies if making for your kids.
