Ingredients
  • 200Gms MilkMaid / Condensed MilkI have used Nestle MilkMaid.
  • 100Gms Desiccated CoconutAvailable at any Kirana/General Store
  • 5-6Leaves Paan Patta / Betel LeavesThese are available at Paan shops. Just ask for meetha Patti Paan
  • 1-2tbsp GulkandOptional
  • 2-3Drops Green Food ColourOptional
Instructions
  1. Take Paan leaves, wash and dry it using a clean towel. Chop these Paan leaves into long shreds using a knife.
  2. Heat a non-stick kadhai on low flame, pour milkmaid and the chopped paan leaves. Mix it well. Now add 2-3 drops of green food colouring.
  3. Mix everything well. Keep stirring this for a minute. Now add dessiccated coconut and mix it well.
  4. Keep mixing it on a low flame and let it cook till coconut leaves the sides of the pan.
  5. Switch off the gas and transfer the mixture into a plate. Let it cool down.
  6. Make small round balls of the mixture, put a small portion of gulkand inside the ball and give it a round shape using your palm. Make laddoos of the entire mixture.
  7. Roll the laddoos in desiccated coconut and keep aside.
  8. Garnish it with Gulkand and rose petals. Serve it to your guests.
Recipe Notes
  • You can add dry fruits to gulkand and then add inside.
  • You can avoid gulkand if you don’t like the taste of it.
