An Indian vegetarian dish with fresh fenugreek leaves and peas. Cooked in fresh cream and fresh Indian spices. Yummy, Tangy and loaded with flavors. Try and serve it with Naan, Kulcha, Butter Roti.
Methi Malai Matar
Clean, wash and finely chop methi leaves.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Let it splutter.
Add onions and saute till they are translucent. Once done, add methi leaves and peas.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder, sugar and salt. Mix them well. Cook for 5-10 mins on low flame.
Gently crush kasoori methi on your hands and add it to the sabzi.
Finish with fresh cream or malai.
Serve hot with naan or roti.
