We all know Water is a magic elixir which helps in flushing out all the toxins from your body. But with just a few additions, you can transform water into ‘detox water’ and increase the benefits. Sounds good, right?
Every once in a while, we all should attempt flushing out toxins and cleansing our system. This is because there are a lot of unnecessary toxins that settle in our system due to our unhealthy eating habits.
*Detox Water* is the solution to all your problems. Not only does it keep your system clean but it also burns fat. Ahaaan! Also it makes your skin glowing and fresh. Awesome no? 😉
With few easy ingredients at home, you can make your own “Detox Water” and reap the benefits. Also people like me, who are lazy in drinking water or drink very less water, this is the solution for them. By just making “detox water” of your choice, you will end up drinking more and more water.
There is no specific recipe of making “Detox Water”. You can choose Fruits, Herbs, Spices of your choice. I have tried to keep it simple and easy. I have used Apple & Cinnamon, because the combination is made in heaven. Apple will boost your metabolism while cinnamon is loaded with antioxidants and is known to have anti-inflammatory properties. I have added Orange slices, just to add a citrusy taste to it. Tulsi-Honey and Lemon is great for skin and extremely beneficial for the body. You can always choose any other fruits or veggies like Cucumber, Watermelon, Strawberry or any other berries of your choice.
You can drink this any time of the day or you can just carry it to your work place. The time that the ingredients require to release their flavour can vary from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on your mix and the prevailing weather conditions. Given the weather conditions in India, it is advisable to consume herb water within an hour or two if kept at room temperature. If refrigerated, it is safe to sip for up to 24 hours.
