  • 500 gms Bhindi / Okra
  • 2 - 3 Onions
  • 1 Oil - table-spoon
  • 1/2 Cumin seed tea - -spoon
  • 1/2 Mustard seed tea - -spoon
  • 1 half chilly Green - slit in
  • 1/2 Turmeric tea powder - -spoon
  • 1/2 - 1 Red chilli tea powder - -spoon
  • 1 Coriander powder- table-spoon
  • 1/2 mango powder tea Dried (Amchur) - -spoon
  • 1/2 Garam Masala tea - -spoon
  • Coriander leaves - for granish
  • to taste Salt

Instructions
  1. Firstly wash the Bhindi in running water, then wipe them off with a kitchen towel. Then chop them into either pieces or slit them horizontally
  2. Slice Onions thinly
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter. Add green chilly. Sautxe9.
  4. Now add Bhindi and sautxe9 them into low heat till they are little tender. Add onions and mix them well. Let the onions cook for a while, till they become transparent.
  5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder , Amchur powder and salt. Add Garam masala, mix and switch off the flame.
  6. Garnish with Coriander leaves.
  7. Serve with hot fulkas or paratha.
Recipe Notes

Notes :

  1. Always wipe off the excess water after washing bhindi.
  2. Don't put lid while cooking, it will make them sticky which we don't want.
  3. If extra moist, you can add besan that will soak the extra moisture and will enhance the taste as well.
